A Wildflower Assisted Living and Care Homes offers three locations that provide a wonderful experience for those with traumatic brain injuries. We provide supported living for those of all ages that need little to maximum care. We have 24 hour on-site staff and are RN owned and operated.

All three locations are in residential areas and are homelike settings and are in the Denver-metro area. A Wildflower Assisted Living and Care Homes is a member of The Colorado Assisted Living Association. We accept private pay, workman’s, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance.

Position Description:
We are seeking a PRN Caregiver to join our team of providers. This PRN will be compensated for 36 hours per week, even if this many hours is not worked, but must be available at all times unless time-off is requested. This position will be involved in supporting our clients through daily health and wellness activities, medication administration, light housekeeping, and emotional support.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living which may include: feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Administering medications and treatments with timely and accurate documentation
- Knowing and implementing a client's care plan
- Monitoring and recording a client's health and behavior
- Promptly relaying pertinent information to the Owner
- Providing companionship and conversation to the clients
- Professionally representing the company to clients, family members, and vendors in an enthusiastic, heartfelt manner
- Planning, preparing and leading meaningful, mental, physical, and spiritual activities
- Planning, shopping, preparing, serving and cleanup of meals and snacks
- Housekeeping, laundry, and outdoor maintenance
- Running errands, pet care, plant care and other assignments as needed

Requirements:
- Possess QMAP or be willing to study and test for the QMAP
- Current Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certification
- CNA certification a plus
- Punctual, flexible, reliable, responsible
- Willing to work an on-call schedule
- Pass initial and regular DMV check, drug screen, background checks
- Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, dependable auto
- High School diploma
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
- Emotionally mature, respectful of privacy, and caring
- Ability to foresee necessary details and proactively implement responsibilities
- Ability to sincerely relate to others in need and improve their quality of life in a compassionate way
- Ability to preserve dignity while combating loneliness, helplessness or boredom
- Ability to take personal responsibility for own decisions, actions, and plans
- Open to on-going training
