The Resident Care Coordinator provides direct care to the residents of the facility and to provide leadership to the care aides and provides direct resident care services and support to the department and resident care manager to ensure that this department contributes to the long term viability of the property


Specific Responsibilities:
· Assists in operating the department within the financial guidelines and budget approved by FMI.
· Assists with coordinating the department staff in alignment with FMI policies and property objectives.
· Assists in the operations of a safe, sanitary and efficiently run department.
· Responsible for resident services in alignment with regulatory requirements and service plan objectives to ensure a ·Ensures all documentation is current, filed immediately, secured, and meets all FMI and regulatory requirements.
· Maintains positive relations with residents, families, physicians, pharmacists and staff.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.


Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years prior working experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility in resident care services.
· Current certification as a Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) required
· Experience in development of resident care plans, service coordination and supervision of staff.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must.


Work Schedule:

· Holds a minimum of one certification from an accredited entity in the following categories: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pool (if applicable), boilers or heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC).
· Holds Certified Manager of Maintenance, Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician or comparable property management certification, or ability to obtain such certification within twelve months of hire.
· Holds OSHA certification, or ability to obtain such certification within six months of hire.
· Prior experience using chemicals in accordance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) requirements preferred.
· Prior experience writing scopes of work, negotiating contracts and obtaining bids for repairs and capital improvements preferred.
· Prior experience working within budget parameters for maintenance/janitorial department preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong self-management and organization skills.
· Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle carpeting deadlines, flexible and adaptable (open to change).

The work schedule for this part-time position will vary but will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PURPOSE
To process and input all payables and receivables in a timely manner to meet monthly deadlines
and reporting requirements; to support accurate financial statements; and to support and assist

MAJOR DUTIES

 Responsible for processing and printing all checks for payment

Post), Peachtree accounting system and other software programs as

Franciscan Ministries Inc. is seeking a (2) two full time Maintenance Techs for its Family Housing facility, Clare Gardens, located in Denver, Colorado.

The purpose of this position is to perform routine, emergency and preventive maintenance duties to ensure long-term viability of the property in alignment with Franciscan Ministries, Inc. Specific Responsibilities:

· Responsible to ensure timely completion of all routine, emergency and preventive maintenance work orders in accordance with FMI policies and procedures.
· Assists in the operation of a safe, sanitary and efficiently run department.
· Responsible for preparing vacant apartments for occupancy in accordance with FMI policies and procedures.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years prior maintenance experience.

· Holds a minimum of one certification from an accredited entity in the following categories: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pool (if applicable), boilers or heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) or 3-4 years’ experience equivalent.

· Holds Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and OSHA certification, or ability to obtain such certification within six months of hire.

· Ability to read and write and ability to communicate with customers/vendors.

· Strong self-management and organization skills.

· Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (open to change).

· Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.


Work Schedule: Full time Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Other: Ability to work as a team member with other Silverado Senior Living community leaders/department heads to develop quality assessment and improvement programs. Experience in nursing systems and development of educational/in-service programs.

Clinical competency in standards of care for adult patients/residents with multiple chronic co-morbidities, including dementia. Familiar with gero-psychiatric diagnosis and common treatment modalities.

Ability to utilize computer programs for communication needs and medical documentation purposes.

Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance. Ability to read, write and speak English. May be asked to travel out of region for meetings and other assignments. Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds. Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disease.

Summary of Major Functions:

Directs and manages the health delivery systems within the Community to ensure optimum quality of care and quality of life for all residents. Assists administration in the communication and assurance of adherence to all applicable regulations and policies and procedures. Provides direct assessment and documentation of resident needs. Hires, supervises and trains staff on health related duties and responsibilities. Demonstrates an understanding of Silverado’s Core Operating philosophy of LOVE>fear by actions of training, modeling behavior, assuring that all leaders in Nursing understand and model this philosophy. Hours and shifts of duty may vary. This position may require working varying hours and will likely include weekend and holiday duty.
